There is a rail card for 16-17 year olds that provides a 50% discount off all rail travel. You will need to purchase the card via www.16-17saver.co.uk. It is worth bearing in mind that for students aged 18, the 16-25 railcard available to you does not give a discount on peak train services (unless your ticket price is over £12). Alternatively, buying a season ticket gives you discounted travel.
Students living in Surrey can apply for a Surrey LINK bus card. This is for young people aged 20 and under and offers half price bus travel on single and return tickets for any bus journey that starts and/or finishes in Surrey. The College has 220 spaces available for students parking on-site. As this is limited, permits are only given to those students who live more than 2 miles from the College or have a disability/medical condition.
Only safe drivers will be allowed on the campus. In order to park you must register your car details at Student Reception and have an induction with a Community Support Officer. Disabled parking bays can be found at the main entrance to the College and the campus is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Electric charging points are also available.
Motorbike & moped spaces and covered storage for 50 bicycles is provided. Showers and lockers are available in the Sports Centre.
